Growing Together

Growing Together is a public space located at Taman Sri Lempah, on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Located at a hilltop amidst a local community area, the public space is designed in accordance with the site, topography, sensory factors, relativity and benefit to the community.

Inspired by the concept of Wave and flow Growing together takes the visitors through a journey of tradition and technology into the future of farming in order to inspire and motivate young adults towards agriculture and sustainability. The Structure and Design of the space express the flow of traditional hill farming, research center combining Wind Channelling and Water Harvesting system and finally into an enclosed futuristic structure combining vertical farming and Grow room seating which would mesmerize the visitors and give them something they would value of.

 Not only that Growing together is a combination of Social and Educational space where people can interact, learn, explore as well as get involved in social interactions and also indulge themselves in the submerged garden under the Wind and Water Sustainable Structure to enjoy the nature as well as having refreshments from the underground cafe. This journey from the Past to the Future is the main concept of the design and architecture which will take people through a story of Tradition and Technology through a social and green environment.
