Cosmopolitan Hotel Project
Malaysia Truly Asia
A collaboration project between the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Raffles College of Higher Education in order to design the staircase of Cosmopolitan hotel. Students were asked to propose innovative design solutions to the lifeless design of the Cosmopolitan hotel staircase. A total of 12 entries from different levels of students from Raffles college were sent and the final selection was my design solution.
As Malaysia is a multicultural and multiracial country with various demographics of people living in harmony I intended to immerse the visitors or tourists into the cultural diversity of Malaysia. Designing 3 levels of the staircase into 3 main races of Malaysia. expressing the cultural art of the 3 races along with the symbolization of each race with their designated color preference,
1. Malay with their signature green color of serenity and peace displaying Wayang Kuluit a traditional shadow art form telling stories of the race and its history.
2. Chinese with their red and golden insignia expressing their strength and passion while displaying the traditional Chinese lantern and Chinese New year traditions.
3. Indian with their bright yellow and purple color expressing pride and joy displaying their bright and colorful makeup and clothing with the dance forms very famous in Indian culture.
Display of the 3 main races and their culture and traditions would let the guests see the diversity of Malaysia and its harmony of the people to give them a taste of

This Project was a freelance design project for Fashion Marketing and Management students of Raffles college of higher education. As their final project, they have to form a brand either fashion, makeup, accessories, health, and beauty, etc. From the branding and merchandising, their final outcome would be displayed in a booth customized into their own branding style.
As they wanted to design something like a start-up business for healthy and natural cosmetic products they named the brand Speroe to express freedom and new energy. My concept was to design their booth like the branch of a tree and use all-natural materials in order to support and strengthen their brand. My concept was to express natural elements and geometric shapes to give the customers an idea of simplicity and nurture which would greatly strengthen the brand and their products.
After Multiple changes and modifications, the design was finalized and the clientswere very happy with the outcome
No More Loss
Laser Detector
This is another freelance project for Multimedia Design students of Raffles College of Higher Education. For their final project, they designed a detector for lost items in public spaces. Especially focusing on shopping malls their main idea was to create a detector placing on the toilets where people may keep their belongings and if they forget the items the detector would stimulate alarm system to create a reminder.
For this, the clients asked me to design a nice and chic bathroom design as their target audience would be high-end malls where people might lose valuable items. For this, I designed the bathroom with sophisticated modern contemporary materials to express the clean and classy ambiance of the mall bathroom. This project, however, was not very challenging as I had much freedom in design and express my style.
